Thanks Kerri and Kendall!

Our Christmas present from Kerri and Kendal was a gift certificate for Doryman's Inn!
The view from our window!  It was gorgeous.
We used last weekend to do our yearly planning/mom/dad business.  We got that out of the way much faster than we expected and totally enjoyed our beach getaway.  By the way everyone put the first weekend in August on your calendars for our Powell trip!  Thanks family for the mini getaway to St. George this weekend http://trigranny.blogspot.com/2013/01/runners-series-one-done.html

    Some Christmas 2012 Pics

It used to be much easier to blog, download the pics from the camera and voila!  Now the pictures are so scattered between cameras and phones, downloaded to this device or that!  Ok now lets see if I can find some cabin pics.
Jackie was a very sick dog while we were at the cabin, she was very lethargic, and wouldn't eat.  She began to cough up blood, we took her down the mountain to see the vet and she began to perk up, it turns out she was altitude sick.  Sadly, no more cabin trips for Jackie!
     Uncle Kyle and Maddie
     Maddie in her Daddy's sled!

Yeah, Kyle's attached to those skis!

Another jump and he lost a ski in the powder, that is all digging to find the ski, it took about an hour with all the boys digging to find the ski!

Whew--found the brand new Christmas ski!
     Brent back on a snowmobile!

You know he's going to be teaching her to jump off the stairs onto the couch!

    Two Kyles
At the lodge, ski days, Kyle and Kael did great!

    November

November came and went--it was a month of coming and goings for us, we got to celebrate Grandma's 80th birthday.

We had a very quick trip to Maine to meet our new grandson Kyran.  Kyran, the lucky boy has Uncle Brad to be his godfather.

Maine was beautiful but the highlight was little Kyran, he is so precious.
After our visit to Maine, we had a quick trip to Arizona, that trip did not go as planned, lets just say I have a little unfinished business in Arizona.
I went directly from Arizona to Grammy and Papa's and got spoiled, having a whole week to spend with them. Bri, Sarah, Maddie, Craig and Brad all arrived at the same time Papa and I got back from Davis with Kyle.

Grammy is teaching my how to trim the roast, mine didn't turn out so well last year.
Being a grandma is the best!
     Riding Great Papa's mower!
Papa, Dave, Grammy, Uncle Bob and Aunt Darcy.

    Celebration

Kyle flies in on Friday and Brent on Saturday, I will be filling my house with boys again!  Brent speaks in church on Sunday, Dec 16, no rest for that boy, we'll see how his English is!  Church is at 9:00 am, 5th and Wabash. Join us Sunday evening to celebrate Brent's return and Kyle's Eagle at our house.

    JACK OLSEN WRIGHT
Jack Olsen Wright, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away, Thursday,

Los Angeles, California. He grew up in Los Angles and started working at a very early age. Jack has always
been a hard worker, starting his first job in the second grade, selling magazines door to door and then
selling newspapers on the street corner until he graduated from high school. He graduated early from
high school, and attended L.A. City College and UCLA. He served an LDS mission to the Spanish American
mission and dearly loved his time in the mission field. After his mission, he attended Brigham Young University
were he met the love of his life, Jesse Jeanne Jackson. They were married November 16, 1953 in the

trips around the world. Jack was an active member in the LDS church and had a strong testimony of the gospel.
He served in many calling throughout the years. He particularly enjoyed his service as Bishop, his seven times
serving in the Bishoprics, 18 years on the high council, and working with the blazer boys in Primary. His greatest
love was serving in a branch presidency at the Missionary Training Center with his wife Jeanne. He loved working
with the elder and sister missionaries and preparing them for missionary service. Jack and Jeanne served a second
mission, working with the Spanish-speaking ward in Provo. This was also a choice calling for him. Jack was a
devoted husband and loved his family dearly. He was so proud of his Eagle Scout grandsons and his missionary
