Jackie, extreme running dog, smartest Jack Russell Terrier in the world needed a makeover, her collar finally broke after thousands of miles tugging on her leash on her daily runs. Jackie needs to run, just like the rest of us, she is a much happier camper when she gets her daily dose of endorphins. So off we go yesterday to Petco to buy her favorite brand of dog food (of course it's one that you can't buy at Wal-Mart, the grocery store or Costco), you can only get this one at the pet store; and while we were there get her a new collar. After looking at collars very similar in color and style to her old one:
I suddenly realized
JACKIE IS A GIRL, look at that sad boy-dog collar she has been wearing all this time. In this testosterone charged household it is pretty easy to forget Jackie is a she dog. She's a little dog who thinks and acts like she is a big he-dog. 
So, there you go, Jackie's new pink and purple collar
I think she's pretty excited to have something pretty and new, I tried to buy her a little pink dress too but got vetoed.
